Many online blog advice columns state that successful blogs have thriving communities attached to them.  This is evident in the long lists of comments attached to each article posted.

I want to develop a community here too and the trick, as I understand it, is to write content that illicits reaction from readers.

A couple of posts ago, from the legion of silent lurkers that inhabit the Chookscratch grounds, I managed to do this and recieved a couple of comments.  Thankyou for posting guys.

So, I want to give my readers more of what they obviously want - Haiku about snot:

Sinus passages

tunnels of finger and goop
