SWMBOand I are going to Europe in a few weeks. Europe is 'old hat' for her, an old haunt if you like. All I have however are grainy memories of England; cramped, carpeted town houses, smelly farms and the bitter, bitter cold of the warmest winter in 40 years. I loathe to think of what a cold winter would be like.
So, it is time to restock my memory banks with crisp, clean new images. We will be OS for roughly three weeks. Three weeks of backpacking is my limit for living rough. Undies tend to get a bit crunchy after 2 and a half weeks.
The countries on our itinerary are the Czech Republic, Turkey, Slovenia and England. Lonely Planet had the following maps for your perusal.
